We are seeking a dedicated and driven Scientist to join our Pharmaceutical Development team. This role exists to support the design, execution, and interpretation of experimental procedures, contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products. The successful candidate will be hands-on in the lab, working to routine protocols and developing their skills as they grow within the company.
What You Will Do
As a Scientist in our team, your principal accountabilities will include:
- Performing a variety of laboratory and/or process-based activities in line with project needs.
- Leading simple protocols independently or executing standard protocols with supervision.
- Identifying problems during experimental work and raising them with your line manager or colleagues, proposing potential solutions.
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety (H&S), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and role-specific training requirements.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and clients.
- Checking and analyzing experimental data, including basic statistical interpretation, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Contributing to method and/or process development and validation activities.
- Recording all experimental work comprehensively and supporting the writing of procedures, protocols, and technical reports in line with the Quality system.
- Training junior staff in standard procedures and laboratory techniques.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives focused on lab efficiency, process enhancements, and equipment optimization.

- A degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry).
- Previous experience in a laboratory or process development environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and meet objectives in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- A developing understanding of analytical methods, process development, or formulation techniques.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
