Scrub Nurse
Job Description
Prepare operating areas and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile, safe, and available. Act as scrub nurse for minor surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and supporting the surgeon throughout. Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately, including instrument checks and surgical safety checklists. Provide compassionate, patient-centred care before, during, and after procedures.
Assist in stock management, ordering, and equipment maintenance. Contribute to infection prevention and control processes in line with NHS policies.
