Job Description

With a recent restructure creating a number of Scrum teams, we need to bring in one more expereicned Scrum Master. .


You will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices within the team; guiding the team through Scrum processes, delivering value to our customers and stakeholders, supporting estimation and forecasting, removing impediments, and fostering an environment conducive to high performance.


You will also know and understand how to use different agile techniques to facilitate delivery, such as Scrum VS Kanban.





Key Accountability & Responsibilities




Delivery Leadership




Manage, and report on delivery timelines, scope, and resource allocation


Mentor and coach Scrum Masters to enhance their effectiveness and foster Agile maturity across teams. Supporting workgroups to implement principles and practices for effective teamwork across organisational boundaries and professional specialisms.


Execute, own, and lead defined delivery procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency


Support the execution of the Agile Transformation Roadmap


Ensuring successful delivery of new or updated products and services through effective leadership and collaboration within defined delivery cycles


Team Management and Collaboration




Facilitate clear communication among teams, stakeholders, and leadership


Promote a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability


Mentor agile team members through coaching and knowledge sharing. Enhancing employee engagement and ways of working


Transferring knowledge, developing skills and changing behaviours using a range of techniques, resources and media


Agile Practices and Process Optimisation




Facilitate Agile practices at the programme level and ensure adherence across teams


Coach teams and Scrum Masters in Agile methodologies, driving process improvements.


Identify inefficiencies and lead on implementing solutions to enhance team performance.


Foster an environment of continuous improvement by integrating feedback from teams and stakeholders. (SFIA - Improvement mindset - IMPM level 4).


The role will also involve release planning, deployment, risk management, as well as metrics and reporting and document control.
