Key Responsibilities



Facilitate all Agile Ceremonies:

Leading daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Responsible for ensuring they are effective, focused on teams' needs.

Agile Coaching:

Mentor teams and individuals on Scrum and Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.

Team Collaboration:

Build and maintain strong relationships with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables. Encourage open communication, trust, and accountability.

Metrics and Reporting:

Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for Scrum teams, ensuring visibility into progress and helping teams improve their velocity, quality, and delivery.

Facilitate Product Backlog Management

: Assist Product Owners in managing the backlog and ensuring that items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for the upcoming sprint.

Continuous Improvement

: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by guiding the team to reflect on processes and outcomes, identifying areas for enhancement, and driving incremental changes.

Risk Management:

Anticipate potential risks and challenges, and proactively work with teams to address them, minimizing the impact on delivery timelines and team morale.

Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring expectations are clear and that teams are aligned with project goals. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile (including desirable

education and/or training)



4-7 years' experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully leading Scrum teams in delivering high-quality software products. Experience working with distributed or remote teams. Experience in scaling Agile practices in large or complex organizations. Familiarity with software development processes and practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing. Strong facilitation skills with the ability to inspire teams and build trust among team members and stakeholders. Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve issues and impediments that impact team's ability to deliver on goals. Passionate about improving team dynamics, delivery efficiency, and product quality through iterative improvements. Effectively manages time and consistently meets deadlines with some guidance from manager Adjusts quickly to new or changing assignments, processes and people Displays professionalism and remains composed when faced with challenges Learns from experience; modifies behaviour to be more effective Recognizes one's own strengths and opportunities for growth Solves a range of problems in straightforward situations; analyses possible solutions and assesses each using standard procedures Applies expertise to improve efficiency and accomplish objectives within own area of responsibility Decisions are guided by policies and procedures; receives moderate guidance and oversight from manager Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment and promote effective cross-functional teamwork.
