Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SD-WAN / LAN / Wi-Fi Consultant to design and deliver cutting-edge network solutions across multi-site environments. You will own the end-to-end delivery of SD-WAN overlays and campus LAN/Wi-Fi modernisation, ensuring predictable scope, quality, and profitability.


This role involves

leading Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), policy implementation, and cutovers, coordinating field teams, and driving assurance and lifecycle reviews to support Cisco Partner Incentives.

You'll also provide presales support and ensure seamless handover to Managed Services.

- Up to 45,729 per annum dependant on experience

- Hull, Carr Lane with hybrid working option

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct discovery workshops and produce HLD/LLD and policy matrices. Design SD-WAN foundations and LAN/Wi-Fi modernisation packs per site. Lead ZTP, testing, cutovers, and rollback governance. Develop and maintain standardised packs with clear pricing models. Coordinate BIT/CommsCare for logistics and on-site activities. Implement assurance monitoring and success plans for customer experience. Capture lifecycle evidence for Cisco Partner Incentive compliance. Produce diagrams, as-builts, and operational runbooks. Support presales with Statements of Work, estimates, and Bills of Materials. Mentor engineers and codify reusable templates and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).

Candidate Requirements:



Essential



Proven experience delivering multi-site SD-WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi projects to time, cost, and quality standards. Strong knowledge of segmentation, QoS, identity/AAA, and clean handover practices. Hands-on experience with ZTP, templating, and controller migrations. Cisco Black Belt Enterprise Networking and Meraki (within 90 days). CCNA Enterprise (or equivalent experience). Excellent documentation skills (HLD/LLD, MOPs, runbooks, as-builts). IT literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred:



Exposure to Ekahau or equivalent Wi-Fi survey tools. Experience with SSE/SASE/ISE solutions. Industry background in IT, utilities, or service provision.
