MPI is seeking an ambitious and motivated self-starter with a strong commercial drive. To join our team as a Seafood Sales Executive and develop their career within an internation trading environment. This role will focus on the sales of seafood products, primarily pelagic species, while continuing to manage customer relationships, negotiating pricing, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting revenue growth and business development, while actively managing commercial risk. There will be a particular emphasis on markets in Europe and West Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships new and existing customers.
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to achieve sales and margin targets.
Identify and convert new business opportunities within assigned markets.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
Travel internationally as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness in communications, as this role requires availability beyond standard office hours to meet the demands of an international client base.
Qualifications & Skills:
Preferred experience in a commercial role.
Proficiency in French or Spanish (or other languages) is highly desirable, though not required.
Strong understanding of international trade dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel at short notice as business needs require.

Salary 28,000-32,000 depending on experience.
