We are an established alteration studio in Fleet, specialising in bridal alterations, bespoke, evening wear, and general clothing alterations. We are looking for a skilled and reliable seamstress to join our team.
About this Role
You will work on a variety of garments, from everyday clothing to high end gowns. The ideal candidate is confident in their craft, able to work independently, and comfortable meeting day to day deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Bridal gowns ( resizing, hemming, steaming...)
- General clothing alterations
- Working with delicate fabrics
- Ensuring high quality workmanship
- Managing daily deadlines and workflow
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in alterations or dressmaking
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Attention to details
PAY - 12.50, with possibility to negotiate based on experience and skill level
POSITION TYPE - Full time / part time
