McCalls is a leading Highlandwear specialist for both Hire and Retail Sales,

We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a keen eye for detail ensuring precision is paramount.

Duties

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to produce high-quality garments and textiles. Perform alterations and repairs on existing garments as required. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Assist in preparation hire department, cleaning and carrying out minor alterations to hire garments

Requirements

Proven experience in sewing, Familiarity with various types of fabrics and sewing techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Min hours 14 Hours over 2-3 days

During busy periods additional hours will be available.
