We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress/Tailor to join our team. The Seamstress/Tailor will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments, ensuring a perfect fit and finish. Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to create, modify, and repair clothing items. Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions. Conduct fittings with clients to assess garment adjustments and make recommendations as needed. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available for efficient workflow. Stay updated on current fashion trends and garment construction techniques to enhance skills and service offerings.

Skills

Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques is essential. Strong understanding of garment construction principles and fashion retail practices. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and fabric estimations. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets client expectations.

Pay: 12.50-12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
