We are currently recruiting a Seasonal (part-time) Concierge/Doorman to join the Front Office Team, offering a personalised service to our guests.
You will be the face of the guest relations team, welcoming all guest to Market Street hotel ensuring guest expectations are delivered and exceeded at all times. You'll have impeccable personal presentation standards, be team orientated, and have excellent communication skills as you'll be working closely with other departments in the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
You will welcome all guests and give them a unique welcome
Develop high quality relationships with guests, from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay.
Provide receptionist duties at busy periods
Being a true local hero, providing concierge information about Edinburgh and beyond.
Be completely knowledgeable about the hotel and Edinburgh
Maintain the cleanliness of the entrance and communal areas
Carry out porter duties, delivering luggage and any guest request to bedrooms
Flexibility is a must as you will be required to cover shifts over the weekends and night shift

Hours of work:
This is a seasonal role based on 24 hours per week
Role Requirements:
Experience working in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment is essential for this position
Excellent verbal and written communication
Must have a valid right to work in the United Kingdom
Flexibility is a must as you will be required to cover shifts over the weekends
