Woodlark Nurseries Ltd is a ten-acre site situated in Hersham, Surrey.

Glasshouses occupy approximately two acres and polythene tunnels another five acres, with outdoor cropping areas, where we grow Chrysanthemums and Hebes, as well as Daffodils.

The role could be made permanent dependent on the needs of the business.

Deliver Driver role responsibilities

Deliveries for our wholesale and retail businesses. Wholesale will be driving 3.5t Luton van with tail-lift and will require competent driving. Will be driving a normal panel van transit style and require attention to detail to ensure the right trolleys are unloaded, as will have multi drops up to 18 max dependant on order sizes etc. May have to start earlier on some days depending on destinations, which on some days may require long distance driving to Manchester and Liverpool so will end up being a long day now and then. Customer-friendly as the face of the company when delivering to customers houses etc. Relatively fit and healthy as will have to load and unload compost and pots which can be heavy. And will require to carry into people's gardens if requested. May require early starts dependant on routes. Good level of general fitness as you will be required to help with the loading and unloading of vehicles. Be professional at all times. Be able to meet deadlines. Working under minimal supervision. Be flexible and available for working longer hours. Friendly, approachable and reliable. Able to adapt to working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. Calm under pressure. You may be required to work on the nursery during quiet times. Own transport advantageous due to location. Clean driving licence essential.

Lorry Driver 7.5 tonne responsibilities

Professionally representing Woodlark Nurseries Ltd brand whilst on the UK roads. Ensuring our products reach our customers on time and in good condition. Driving safely, responsibly and within the law. Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicles at all times Abiding by UK driver's regulations at all times. Conducting daily vehicle checks etc.

You will need

CPC (Driver Qualification Card is an essential requirement although there is the potential to fund an exceptional candidate with a licence without a CPC or who has an expired CPC. Good level of general fitness as you will be required to help with the loading and unloading of vehicles. Be professional at all times Be able to meet deadlines Working under minimal supervision Be flexible and available for overtime Friendly, approachable and reliable Able to adapt to working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment Calm under pressure.
*You may be required to work on the nursery during quiet times.

Hours are dependent on the needs of the business and may include the occasional weekends.

Own transport advantageous due to location.
