About the Role

As a

Class 2 Rigid HGV Driver

, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of LPG to domestic and commercial customers across the region. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Loading your vehicle from our purpose-built facility

in accordance with ADR regulations and company safety standards.

Planning and following delivery routes

to ensure timely and efficient service.

Navigating rural and restricted access locations

, requiring confident driving and problem-solving skills.

Carrying out pre- and post-vehicle checks

to maintain compliance and safety.

Completing delivery documentation and maintaining accurate records

for compliance purposes.

Communicating professionally with customers

, ensuring a positive experience and resolving any delivery challenges.

Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines

, including PPE usage and emergency procedures.

Reporting any incidents, defects, or hazards promptly

to maintain operational integrity.

Must-Have Requirements

ADR Licence

(including tanks) and

Class 2

certification. Valid

Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence

. Current

Driver CPC

and

Digital Tachograph Card

. Prior HGV driving experience. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Pay & Benefits

Basic Pay:

14.50 per hour

Overtime Rate:

21.50 per hour

Additional Incentives

Quarterly Winter Retainer Bonus:

600 (paid end of January & end of April)

Energy Bonus:

600 per quarter

Driver Bonus:

300 per quarter Full training provided on LPG handling and delivery. Supportive team environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Contract Duration:

Approximately 5 months (seasonal role).

Start Date:

Immediate.
