We're looking for a temporary Kitchen Assistant to join our small chocolate production team for the next four weeks during our busy Christmas period. This role focuses on hands-on support in our chocolate kitchen, helping with bar production, preparing ingredients, polishing and cleaning moulds, wrapping finished products, and keeping the workspace tidy and organised. Full training will be provided, and no previous chocolate experience is required.
Responsibilities
Help with daily chocolate production tasks such as preparing ingredients and assisting with moulding and demoulding chocolate
Polish and clean chocolate moulds to a high standard
Wrap and label finished chocolate bars and other products
Keep the kitchen clean and well organised throughout the day
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
Assist with basic stock checks and preparation work
Support the team with general tasks as needed during peak periods
Requirements
Ability to work accurately with good attention to detail
Able to work quickly and keep up with a fast-paced production environment
Comfortable working on repetitive tasks that require consistency
Good organisational skills and a tidy working approach
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Able to work well as part of a small team
Previous experience in a food environment is helpful but not essential
Flexibility to work extra hours if required during the Christmas rush
