Summary

We're looking for flexible and enthusiastic Seasonal Sales Assistants to join our friendly garden centre team. In this customer-facing role, you'll help create a warm and welcoming environment by offering knowledgeable, helpful service across our retail areas. Whether you're restocking shelves, maintaining eye-catching displays, assisting customers at the tills, or sharing advice on seasonal gardening products, you'll play an important role in making every visit memorable.

Hours:

We currently have two vacancies available: Monday, Friday and Saturday 9am - 5.30pm. And Monday, Friday 9am - 5.30pm, and Sundays 10am - 4.30pm.

This role is a fixed term contract and will end on 04/01/2026.

Pay:

This role is paid in accordance with the applicable National Minimum Wage rate.

Main Duties:

Greeting customers and providing them with information on our products, services, and Christmas Grotto experience Assisting customers with their purchases and helping them find what they are looking for Supporting the Christmas Grotto activities, including guiding visitors, managing queues, and ensuring a festive atmosphere Maintaining a tidy and well-organised store and Grotto environment Handling cash and card transactions Contributing to the overall success of the store by achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service

Requirements:

Previous experience in a retail environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-traffic holiday settings Strong organisational and time management skills
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.21 per hour
