The exciting and magical Christmas season will soon be upon us here at The Imaginarium, and we've opened the Christmas room even earlier this year. Which means we're looking for lots of extra help to make the festive period at our store a really special time for our valued customers, who are all looking for that perfect gift for their loved ones. We are recruiting now for team members to start with us in August. Further positions will be available as we approach September and October.

We'll have a number of temporary sales assistant positions available at our Magical and unique store, based on Blake Street in the stunning city centre of York.

Ideally, you will have some retail experience and a passion for making a customer's experience one to remember. As part of The Yorkshire Soap Company brand, we pride ourselves on our high standards of retail and strive to being the best retail stores in Yorkshire, so we want our sales assistants to really shine, work hard and have lots of fun.

Your duties will include meeting and greeting customers, keeping busy at all times, establishing customer's needs and helping them to find the perfect gift, whilst ensuring our products are well stocked and that displays are full, clean and tidy. You will also assist in weekly deliveries and may be on the till performing cashier work.

We will require extra help for August-December and the contract will end on 24th December 2024. Amazing candidates will be considered for permanent roles within the store and company for 2025.

We have 3 x part time positions available. You will need to be flexible and be available to work weekdays and weekends.

Our rates of pay start at 10.10-12.30 based on your age and retail experience.
