Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Seasonal Service Assistant to join our team throughout the summer and possibly beyond. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests by providing outstanding service in a hospitality setting, including our cafe, horsebox and ice-cream parlour. This position involves assisting with food preparation, catering services, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

Provide excellent guest services by welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Support food preparation activities, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist with catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues in various tasks as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A proactive attitude towards helping others and contributing to team success.

Job Types: Permanent, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 22 per week
