Job Description

An opportunity has arisen in our Retail team and we are looking for a Seasonal Stock Assistant to join us on a temporary basis at Bettys Cafe Tearooms in York over the Christmas Period. As a Seasonal Stock Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the retail team with the daily management of deliveries, stock replenishment and the general processing of stock. This role is fixed term until the end of December 2023. This is a Part time role working a minimum of 16 hours each week. We have a variety of shift patterns with start and finish times staggered throughout the day which is dependent on the opening hours of the branch. These shifts may include some early mornings or later finishes. We do not ask anyone to work split shifts. You will be required to work at least one day at the weekend every week. About you

You will have good communication skills and the ability to work well with others. You will also be able to work independently when required. You'll have excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work.
