Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Prepare and cook menu items using fresh ingredients while adhering to recipes. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment. Collaborate with management on menu planning and special events. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Maintain a positive work atmosphere that encourages creativity and passion.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a busy restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Passion for cooking with a creative approach to menu development. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
