We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading the kitchen team to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Develop new menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience. Maintain a positive atmosphere in the kitchen, encouraging creativity and teamwork.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and front-of-house staff. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests. Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour
