Job Summary


We are seeking a versatile and skilled individual to join our team as a Carpenter. This role involves hands-on work across various construction and fabrication projects, requiring a strong foundation in multiple trades. Responsibilities



Assisting with fabrication and assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools Performing carpentry and joinery work to specifications Operating roofing equipment and undertaking roofing repairs or installations Handling heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment as required Conducting construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing Installing plumbing fixtures and systems in accordance with technical drawings Executing masonry work including bricklaying and blockwork Applying electrical experience for basic wiring or fixture installation under supervision Maintaining a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety standards Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately

Experience



Previous experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is highly desirable Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment in construction settings Experience with heavy lifting tasks in a construction environment Knowledge of construction painting techniques and safety protocols Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is advantageous Practical understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: 25.00 per hour
