Nursery 2nd in charge Room Leader -

Banana Moon Westhill is looking for a qualified, passionate, and caring Room Leader to take on the day-to-day management within the playroom.

Working under the Room Leader, Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager, you will be hands-on with the children providing professional leadership and management to their staff, ensuring that all our children receive the highest standards of care and opportunities for learning.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 42 hours per week.

The successful candidate will:

A passion for working with children 3 years (or more) experience working in a childcare setting Have experience managing a team and working under the relevant guidelines. SCQF level 7 qualification (e.g., HNC, SVQ3) in Childhood Practice SSSC registration Team focused Strong communication skills Experience of Learning Journals is desirable but not essential Ensure high standards of care Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements Ensure positive relationships with staff, parents, and carers Provide leadership and support to playroom staff to enable them to establish and maintain positive working relationships. Ensure that the relevant curriculum is being practiced to a high standard Develop the environment within the room and the nursery as a whole

Pay: 29,500.00-30,000.00 per year
