We are looking for an

ambitious and inspiring Second in Science

to help drive excellence across our Science faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in shaping the future of Science education at Nuneaton Academy.

About the Role

Support the Head of Faculty in delivering a clear vision for outstanding teaching and learning in Science. Deputise for the Head of Faculty and take a strategic role in faculty development and improvement. Lead on raising standards and ensuring excellent outcomes across all key stages. Coordinate and develop curriculum areas and drive innovative teaching practice. Be an active member of the Middle Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school improvement.

What We're Looking For

A passionate and experienced Science teacher with a proven record of excellent classroom practice. Leadership potential and the ability to inspire and support colleagues. A strong understanding of curriculum development and data-driven improvement. A commitment to high expectations and inclusive education. A dedication to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
