As Second Officer you will be a part of strengthening the support of the deck department- always with a focus on safety first! You will ensure that all instructions and tasks, in the deck department, such as loading and unloading, are carried out efficiently. Other maintenance tasks are coordinated by the Chief Officer with whom you will collaborate.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Supporting and strengthening the Deck Department
- Carrying out maintenance on board as directed by the Chief Officer
- Being a motivated and inspiring team player

Qualifications:
- Deck Officer Class V
- Strong analytical and strategic ability
- Strong system knowledge
- Fluent in English and Swedish
- Dangerous goods certificate

Good to have:
- Deck Officer Class II
- Fluent in German or Danish

This is a full-time, permanent position with placement on board one of our vessels. You will be employed with a shipping company employment (rederianst\xc3\xa4llning) which means that it is possible to be transferred to other Swedish-flagged vessels within Stena Line in the future.
