Job Description

Secondary AP Lead will be responsible for developing and managing the Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) provision, ensuring bespoke programmes are designed to achieve positive outcomes for each learner. This individual will be key to growing the offer across Rochdale and surrounding boroughs (Oldham, Bury, Manchester, etc.), building new relationships with schools and local authorities, securing new referrals, and ensuring the programme remains robust and effective. The role also includes a management element, overseeing team leaders and supporting the progress and development of secondary students within the programme.

Key Responsibilities:



Design and develop bespoke KS3 and KS4 intervention programmes tailored to the specific needs and outcomes of each learner. Regularly assess and adapt the provision to ensure it remains relevant and effective for students. Ensure the programmes are aligned with educational best practices and industry standards in alternative provision. Lead the expansion of the KS3 and KS4 offer across Rochdale and surrounding boroughs (Oldham, Bury, Manchester, etc.). Build and nurture relationships with schools, local authorities, and other educational providers to increase referrals and partnerships. Develop and implement strategies to sell and promote the programme to potential clients and contacts. Proactively seek and secure new referrals for the programme from schools and local authorities. Ensure all necessary documentation, assessments, and plans are in place for new referrals. Create and maintain strong working relationships with key contacts, ensuring ongoing collaboration. Line manage allocated team leaders, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Oversee the performance and progress of respective teams, ensuring targets and objectives are met. Lead regular team meetings to discuss student progress, share best practices, and address challenges. Maintain a strong understanding of each student's individual needs, progress, and personal development plans. Monitor the progress of secondary students, ensuring their goals and outcomes are being achieved. Attend multi-agency meetings (when available) to contribute to discussions around student progress and needs. Ensure that all aspects of the programme meet the required standards and comply with relevant regulations. Regularly review and update programmes to ensure they continue to meet industry standards and best practices in alternative provision. Ensure that students are supported appropriately in line with their educational, social, and emotional needs. Act as a point of contact for all key individuals regarding secondary provision matters. Keep up to date with developments in the education and alternative provision sector. Contribute to the overall strategic direction of Ed for All and support other areas of the business when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 39,569.00-50,499.00 per year
