Secondary Cover Supervisor -Central Bristol (BS1)

If so, this Cover Supervisor opportunity in a 'good' OFSTED rated secondary school in Bristol could be the perfect way to gain classroom experience, develop your confidence, and see if teaching is the right path for you!

Start ASAP
140 - 160 per day, depending on experience
Monday - Friday 8.30am to 3.45pm
Term time only
Mainstream secondary school
Bristol - BS1
A teaching qualification is not required for this role!

About the role

Supervise classes/groups of pupils during break periods
Ensure pupils remain on task with cover work set by absent teacher, to ensure continuity of learning.
Managing a classroom, ensuring high standards of behaviour in line with the school's policy
Support school events
Opportunities for training and development internally and externally

A Secondary Cover Supervisor will

Have extensive prior experience within an education establishment as a learning support assistant, teaching assistant, unqualified teacher etc
Possess good behaviour management skills and remain calm under pressure.
Be confident with ICT skills, particularly Microsoft packages
