We are seeking dedicated and passionate Tutors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop their skills. This role involves working closely with children, providing tailored educational support, and fostering a positive learning environment. Experience in special education is highly desirable, as we aim to cater to diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one within very small group tutoring sessions in English, maths and Primary groups (depending on your specialism).
Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to help create personalised learning plans.
Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles.
Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and areas for improvement.
Educate students on study techniques, time management, and organisational skills.
Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence in learning.
Collaborate with other teachers and educational professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
Skills
Must be a qualified teacher with QTS, with at least 2 years experience working in a school or relevent setting.
Knowledge of special education practices is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.
Ability to educate and inspire students, adapting methods to meet individual needs.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed academically.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple students and their learning plans efficiently.
