However, you must also:

Be a qualified teacher or have tutoring experience Be qualified up to degree level or be an undergraduate with tutoring experience Have excellent subject knowledge for AS / A-level Maths and GCSE/KS3 Maths Understand exam board-specific requirements for AS / A-level Maths and GCSE Maths Have excellent communication skills Be flexible, organised, reliable and punctual Care about helping students improve and achieve academically Enjoy working with children Be willing to undertake additional training relevant to the role

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of secondary students in mathematics. Provide one-on-one and/or group tutoring sessions to reinforce understanding of KS3 / GCSE / A Level material. Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence. Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education requirements.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.50-26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
