Apex Specialist Education is a specialist SEMH secondary school and alternative provision. Our existing school is rated Good with Outstanding features, and we are proud to be expanding with new Stockport and Altrincham provisions. Job Summary



We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable and compassionate Secondary Teacher to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing specialist environment and is committed to improving outcomes for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will work across both our Altrincham and Stockport sites, contributing to a safe, purposeful and inspiring learning community.

Key Responsibilities



As a teacher at Apex Specialist Education, you will play a pivotal role in our pupils' educational and personal development. Responsibilities include:

Delivering high-quality, engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of our learners Planning and delivering personalised learning journeys, adapting teaching to suit individual SEMH profiles Creating and sustaining a calm, safe, structured and positive learning environment Promoting emotional well-being, resilience and the development of the whole child Building strong and trusting relationships with pupils, modelling our trauma-informed values Following Apex policies, systems and safeguarding procedures with consistency and confidence Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide cohesive pastoral and academic support Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,500.00-42,000.00 per year
