Summary
We are seeking a professional Secretary to join our team at Carewell Homes. This vital role involves managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth communication within our organization to support our mission of compassionate care.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate daily administrative operations to ensure efficiency.
Handle correspondence, phone calls, and scheduling with professionalism.
Maintain accurate and accessible records through filing systems.
Prepare letters and documents.
Notify changes, and process remittance from Trusts, invoicing and receipting all payments in.
Maintain with accuracy all business and resident financial records.
Banking business in person.
Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
Photocopying documents.
Attend meetings and recording minutes.
Administration of clock in system.
Adherence with voting policy.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
Collaborate with team members to improve administrative procedures.
Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience in office administration or secretarial roles.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Sage accounts.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Previous experience working in healthcare or social care settings is desirable.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: 12.77-14.27 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
