Our dynamic Private Client department is at the core of what we do, offering clear, compassionate, and expert advice on a range of matters including Wills, LPA's, Trusts and probate and administration matters.

The Opportunity



This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and professional individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

You will work closely with experienced lawyers providing essential support on a varied caseload to :

Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client team. Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments. Open and maintain client files in accordance with internal procedures and compliance requirements. Liaise professionally with clients and third parties, ensuring excellent client service at all times. Handle incoming calls, emails, and post, directing or responding as appropriate. Maintain confidentiality and data security. Manage filing systems (electronic and paper-based), archiving, and document retrieval. Assist with onboarding new clients, including conflict checks and ID verification. Undertake any additional administrative tasks as required by the department.

Candidate Requirements



We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

Experience as a legal or private client secretary. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and case management. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Discreet and professional approach with a high level of integrity. Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills. A strong collaborative work ethic.
