As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to hospitality.
Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations
Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and special offerings
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Ensure the kitchen is well-organised, clean, and equipped for service
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management
Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing others in the culinary field
