We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework based in Manchester

: Eccles, Manchester

Hours

: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Section Engineer, you'll ensure the technical compliance of your project or allocated section, delivering work safely, on time and to the highest quality. You'll act as a key link between design, site delivery and project leadership, helping translate specifications into successful and compliant works.



Your day to day will include:


Overseeing the technical delivery of works, ensuring compliance with design, industry standards and project requirements. Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation. Monitoring on site progress, including inspections and quality checks. Identifying, managing and resolving technical aspects with project teams and subcontractors. Ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, promoting best practice across the site.

What are we looking for?

This role of a Section Engineer is great for you if:


You have a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent You have awareness of commercial processes and people/project management You have previous experience in a similar role or industry.
