As a Production Section Leader, you'll report to the Shift Manager, organising and managing your section to ensure the consistent production of high-quality goods. Working closely with your team and the QA department, you'll help ensure that all products meet both customer expectations and internal quality standards.
This role requires ownership and accountability, with a proactive approach to solving problems and maintaining best practices across daily bakery operations. You'll play a key part in driving performance, supporting your team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead and manage section staff to ensure efficient use of labour and smooth operations.
Deliver shift objectives set by the Shift Manager within required timeframes.
Oversee product preparation, baking, packing, and dispatch to meet quality and accuracy standards.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and hygiene policies, including HACCP procedures.
Monitor adherence to recipes and production instructions, ensuring only approved, in-date ingredients are used.
Identify and report any issues or non-conformances to the Shift Manager promptly.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following clean-as-you-go practices.
Participate in training and team meetings and carry out additional duties as required (full training provided).
What You'll Bring
Demonstrable experience in a food production environment in a Team Leader position or equivalent.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and drive team performance in a fast paced environment.
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
Dedication to maintaining high standards across all stages of production process.
Excellent communication skills across all levels.
High attention to detail, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Track record of delivering operational efficiency and driving continuous improvements.
