About the role

Lansdowne is one of only 14 Secure Childrens home's in England & Wales. It is a modern, state of the art building with excellent and diverse facilities. We are looking for a Secure Residential Support Worker to join our care team.
Youll work as part of a dedicated, supportive team, and will be responsible for providing the day-to-day safe and secure care of the children at Lansdowne. Keeping the children engaged and occupied, youll encourage and participate in fun, enriching activities with the young people, such as sports, cooking, arts and crafts and many more.

• Have experience of working with children.
• Behaviour Management experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Well organised and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.

Secure Residential Support Worker offered on a full time basis. Duties will include working the following shift pattern -
Week 1 & 3: Weds, Thurs & Sunday Night
Week 2 & 4: Mon, Fri, Sat & Sun Night

• Experience of working with or looking after children.
• Knowledge or experience of Safeguarding of children

Salary: 331,073- 336,462, including full time working with two weekend increments. If working part-time, the salary will be pro rata.
