You will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will work at the heart of CGI's 360 security services team, shaping the secure foundations of digital transformation for clients across government, defence, healthcare, financial services, and more. You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, and business leaders to develop holistic security designs that deliver measurable resilience and business confidence.



You'll take ownership of architecture decisions, provide trusted security guidance to senior stakeholders, and drive innovation across enterprise systems. Supported by a diverse community of security professionals, you'll have the freedom to explore new approaches, evolve your technical mastery, and make a lasting impact on the security posture of our clients.



Key responsibilities:



Design & Deliver: Develop and implement secure system architectures across diverse enterprise environments.



Lead & Influence: Advise stakeholders on secure design principles, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.



Innovate & Optimise: Drive continuous improvement across security solutions and technical integrations.



Collaborate & Support: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.



Grow & Mentor: Contribute to knowledge sharing and the professional growth of colleagues across CGI's cyber community.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

You should bring a strong foundation in secure system design and architecture, ideally gained through consultancy or technical leadership experience. You'll combine deep technical insight with the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.



Essential qualifications and experience:



Proven experience delivering secure system designs and implementations across enterprise environments.



Strong understanding of security standards and frameworks (e.g. MoD, HMG).



Expertise in cloud security architecture and cyber security principles.



Knowledge of IAM, boundary controls, network segmentation, and Zero Trust Architecture.



Experience with cryptographic techniques, vulnerability management, and SIEM tools.



Awareness of best practices in IT asset management, containerisation, and virtualisation security.



Ability to lead, influence, and drive secure change within complex environments.



Eligibility to hold or obtain UK Security Clearance.
