From initial greeting through to departure our professionally trained security team are here to help. They control access to the village, assist with emergencies and ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay.



We hope our guests never need them, but knowing we have a Security team on call all year-round provides peace of mind and reassurance.

SECURITY ASSISTANT / DRIVER | 13.09 per hour

We are looking for cheerful and efficient Security Assistant to work within a small team, responsible for the security of our village.



In this role, you will be the main point of contact for our guests with restricted mobility or special requirements, transporting them around the village, assisting with wheelchairs and always providing a prompt and efficient service. Other responsibilities include making deliveries to various points on the village and transporting guest luggage.



The ideal candidate will have a friendly nature and excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. You must be confident dealing with guest enquiries and enjoy working with people. Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be advantageous.



On occasion you may be required to act up in the role of a Security Officer, where SIA (Security Industry Authority) regulations allow.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 80 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will generally fall on Fridays and Mondays.



As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

Good communication skills, both orally and written Ability to perform under pressure A good knowledge of IT systems Friendly, genuine, and warm towards colleagues and guests Full Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 6 months SIA door supervisor badge or willing to undertake training First Aid at work certificate or willing to undertake training

Desirable requirements:

Previous Security experience
