Wilson James is seeking a highly capable Security CCTV Controller to deliver a critical command?and?control function across Broadgate's fire control rooms. This role is central to maintaining a safe, compliant, and resilient environment, providing proactive fire overwatch, digital fire patrols, and real?time coordination with security teams, building management, and emergency services.



Working on a 4?on, 4?off roster, you will operate in a fast?paced environment where attention to detail, rapid decision?making, and exceptional communication are essential. You will be a key point of contact for Property Management, contractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring all fire?related risks are identified, escalated, and managed effectively.

About the Role:

As a Security CCTV Controlleryou will be responsible for:


Deliver a professional fire command?and?control service using fire control room systems and procedures. Provide proactive fire overwatch and digital fire patrolling to identify and mitigate risks. Support building teams by responding quickly to incidents, hazards, and early?warning indicators. Liaise with emergency services, including LFB and City of London Police, when required. Manage contractor access, hot?work permits, and lone?worker monitoring to maintain safety compliance. Produce accurate daily reports, logs, and incident documentation within required timeframes. Communicate effectively across the chain of command, ensuring smooth shift handovers and information flow. Investigate incidents, gather electronic evidence, and maintain compliant operational records and templates.

What we are looking for:

Proven experience working within a fire control room or similar command?and?control environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively via radio, phone, and in person. Demonstrated ability to remain calm, decisive, and resilient during incidents or high?pressure situations. Experience managing multiple issues simultaneously while prioritising effectively. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to produce accurate reports and data. Experience with fire and security systems and understanding of incident management processes. High attention to detail, reliability, and consistent punctuality. Valid SIA CCTV licence (DS licence desirable).
