You will work as part of a team supporting Management.
We are currently looking for a Security Controller/Mobile Response Driver
To be responsible for the effective running of the Control Room/Mobile Patrols/Building Open & Lock ups of sites and fully alarming of buildings, as per the agreed contract between the company's clients and our company.
That the organisation and operational efficiency is maintained to a high professional standard and complies with all company procedures.
Key Responsibilities of the Security Controller:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the completion of building observation visits, locks and unlocks of multiple buildings, setting and unsetting of alarm systems and able to deal with emergency alarm incidents as well as completing all necessary paperwork.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate both leadership skills as they will be responsible for the supervision of security officers.
Ensure the safety and security of people, premises and property
Responsible for managing weekly staff rotas on a computerised system and to ensure all
staff are allocated adequate shifts per week.
Ensuring all assignments are staffed in accordance with the customers contractual agreements
Conduct weekly key vault checks in line with BS:7958:2020 policy standards
Carry out staff vetting procedures, under the BS:7858:2019 policy standards
The monitoring of welfare check calls from all security guarding sites
The booking on/off for all officers on duty all clients' premises
Ensuring compliance of company's documented quality management systems (QMS)
Preparing & e-mailing incident reports to customers to show compliance with procedures
Liaising with the senior managers to ensure an adequate supply of trained manpower for immediate and anticipated needs e.g. holidays/sickness/absence
Ensuring all company documentation is completed correctly
Carry out any other operational/ad-hoc administrative tasks
Must be IT proficient eg Microsoft word, excel and access for producing daily reports.
Help and support the Management team with day to day ad-hoc duties.
Must have:
A full UK clean driving license.
Hold a valid SIA License
Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history
Clear communication and good written skills
Excellent customer service & administration skills
