Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

Based: Glasgow HQ

Salary: 26,916 per annum

ABOUT THE ROLE



The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Regional Support Managers to ensure the efficient day to day running of the Security department. This will include booking officers to cover shifts, speaking with clients and liaising with other departments to fix any issues.

You'll assist the security teams to ensure that client sites are fully staffed to fulfil contract requirements, as well as being in compliance with relevant legislation such as Working Time Regulations. You will ensure that all tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner so that we maintain the highest possible levels of customer service.

You will need to be very hands-on and have a 'can-do' attitude. You will be very much a people person.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Liaising with LPs and direct Guards to ensure coverage. Ensure all details on the "People Hours System" are correct and maintained to a high standard. Maintain rosters using the "People Hours System", ensuring all security personnel are entered for the correct days and times of duty. Ensure that all periods of sickness, absence and holidays are covered adequately. Manage Inbound Info including first point of contact for security personnel queries for inbound and out bound traffic. Reactive daily contact with RSM. Report all impending shortfalls in cover to the Security team. Ensure all billing is correct and passed for payments. Ensure all Pricing and margins are retained. Ensure all personnel have undertaken the appropriate training and have been issued with an SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements in order to be deployed. Ensure accuracy of all operational data; and regularly review and report on progress, highlighting any risk of significant variances as they arise, acting where needed. To help build, develop, lead and retain Security Officers. Provide statistics based on information required for any monthly reports as directed.

REQUIREMENTS:



Proven experience as a Security Coordinator or in a similar role. Valid SIA Licence (Front Line) IT Literate, including Microsoft Office. Strong administrative skills. An analytical mind with problem-solving skills. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Experience within the Security Industry would be an advantage.
