Description

All handlers will be required to ensure the security of our client's premises while adhering to the site safety rules and regulations. The handler will be required to be compliant to the British Standards, random dog patrols of the site and any other specific duties to be advised in the assignment instructions.

Hours of Work

Nights and Weekends on a rotational basis

Rates of Pay

15.23hr

including holiday pay.

Handler Requirements

To apply, applicants are required to have:

Work ethics, positive attitude and be a team player
Genuine understanding of their canine partners needs/welfare
A valid frontline SIA badge
Minimum level 2 team certificate (NASDU, NTIPDU or BIPDT)
Continuation training (CT) records
A suitable dog of guarding breed
Compliant dog cages with escape hatches
Appropriate, smart, unbranded vehicle (no company livery)
Public Liability Insurance
Have the right to work in the UK
Professional, presentable with excellent communication skills
Smart black uniform & boots with clean hi-vis/tactical vest

All applicants will be screened and vetted to BS 8517 and BS 7858
