About the Role

We are seeking experienced and professional Security Dog Handlers to join our growing security team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-visibility canine security services across a range of sites, ensuring the safety of people, property, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct patrols with a trained security dog to deter and detect criminal activity

Maintain a strong security presence on site at all times

Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms, and suspicious activity

Complete accurate incident and patrol reports

Ensure the welfare, handling, and control of the security dog at all times

Liaise professionally with clients, colleagues, and emergency services when required

Adhere to company policies, site instructions, and relevant legislation

Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence

Proven experience as a Security Dog Handler

Fully trained and insured security dog (certification preferred)

Strong communication and observational skills

Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and on a shift basis

Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions

Professional, reliable, and well-presented

Desirable (but not essential)

NASDU / BIPDT / NTC or equivalent dog handling qualification

Previous experience in mobile patrols, construction sites, or high-risk environments

Full UK driving licence
