Key Responsibilities
Conduct mobile and static patrols with a trained security dog (K9)
Maintain a visible deterrent presence across the site
Monitor site security and respond to incidents or intrusions
Control access and ensure unauthorised persons are challenged
Report and record incidents, patrols, and observations accurately
Respond to alarms and emergencies in line with site procedures
Liaise with emergency services when required
Ensure the welfare, control, and handling of the K9 at all times
Requirements
Valid SIA Licence (essential)
Own trained and insured K9 (essential)
Self-employed status
(must provide UTR)
10-year work history
(verifiable)
Experience in K9 security operations
Ability to work
12-hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
Strong communication and observation skills
Professional appearance and conduct
Right to work in the UK
