Security Operative

A Position for Security Operatives to join our professional security team based in the Northeast of England at a site based in Durham Bus Station.

The right candidate must be, highly disciplined and take pride in their work as well as their appearance.

As a Security Operative you will play a vital role within our security team and must work to the SIA Code of Practice, to proactively safeguard users of the Bus Station and the fabric of the Bus Station building.

Applicants must be able to work alone, as well as in a small team, and if selected to join our Security team you will fit in to the on-going shift roster.

Main Responsibilities will include:

Ensure, the safety of the public as well as other Security Operatives.

Provide users with access to travel information and general travel advice, location of services and places of interest such as the train station, library and Cathedral.

Ensure, all incidents are reported correctly.

Ensure, all security tasking's, run smoothly and efficiently.

Ensure, all on site instructions are adhered to.

Must be able to deploy at short notice to sites across the Northeast of England.

Ensure, the safety of the public as well as other Security Operatives.

All applicants must have:

In date SIA licence.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Ex British forces is desirable, but not essential.
