The job role requires that the post holder will either undertake the role of security guard during their shift. working one fixed day per week with the remaining hours allocated ADHOC in advance.

Main duties of the job
The Security department at Hexham Hospital provide a variety of services to patients and departments, including maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff, the provision of a high quality, efficient customer orientated Security service and compliance with the Trust Patient Confidentiality Policy.
The post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
