Haventus was born out of the vital need for port space to support large-scale deployment of offshore wind.



The first Haventus energy transition facility is currently under development at Ardersier Port. When completed, it will transform Scotland's largest brownfield port into a world-class facility for the deployment and servicing of offshore wind installations.



Ardersier Port boasts a prime location on the Moray Firth. It represents an operational model that Haventus will seek to replicate across the world, to help enable a greener, net zero future globally.

Position:

Our Security team are responsible for controlling access to the Port. They implement our security operating procedures, which include regular day/ night patrols and monitoring and surveillance of all areas of the site. This is an important role at our facility, where the ideal candidate will be confident in joining a customer facing team. They should have a good understanding of security protocols and how they help to secure the site for all. As part of their role they are expected to:



Carry out security checks on visitors, on arrival and exit - and maintain accurate records of site attendance. Submit daily progress reports to the Security Manager. Perform scheduled and random checks of designated areas throughout the facility to check for any security breaches/hazards/ safety concerns. Respond quickly to any security warning alarms. Liaise with local law enforcement for all suspected or reported criminal activity. Plan, allocate, and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals, and self. Ensure effective interaction between the cost and operational site teams.

We'd like you to...

Have 2+ years' experience in a security or similar-based role. Be First Aid trained (desirable - although training can be given) Have a full drivers licence (must have) Have excellent communication & negotiation skills Have a good level of organisational skills Be able to work in a fast-moving environment Be able to work on initiative with minimum supervision

Please note, our site is open 365 days per year, 24 hours per day - successful candidates will be expected to work a varied shift pattern (average 48 hours per week). This involves working weekends, nights and public holidays.
