Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients premises, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

20 hour per week; flexibility will be required to work 3 shifts/week on shift pattern Mon-Sat.
Hours of work;
Mon-Fri 1545-2245
Saturday 1000-1600

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, suspicious activity and theft. Operate surveillance systems to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security measures are in place. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary until emergency services arrive. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches encountered during shifts. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing the organisation.

Requirements:

MUST be a minimum of 21 years of age . Be well presented. Have excellent timekeeping skills. Be able to communicate well with others and work as part of a large team. Must hold a valid SIA Security Guard / Door Supervisor License (minimum 2 years experience) Able to speak fluent English.
