Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Security Guard to join our team in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to check for any signs of intrusion or security breaches

- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect suspicious activities

- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances

- Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property

- Apprehend criminals and evict violators when necessary

- Report any incidents to the relevant authorities and maintain accurate logs of all security-related activities

- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position

- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

- Familiarity with report writing

- First aid certification is desirable

- Ability to operate surveillance systems and emergency equipment effectively
