Job Description

Role Purpose

To ensure the safety, security, and protection of Lynas Foodservice employees, visitors, property, and assets by monitoring site activity, controlling access, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure working environment in line with company procedures and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Access Control & Gate Management:

Monitor and control access to the premises. Verifying and recording entry/exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles. Preventing unauthorised access to restricted areas.

Patrols & Surveillance:

Conduct regular patrols of buildings, yards, and perimeters to identify security risks or breaches. Identifying suspicious activities or safety/security hazards. Reporting and responding to anomalies immediately.

Incident Response & Reporting:

Responding quickly to emergencies (fire, medical, conflicts, intrusions). Coordinating with emergency services when necessary. Preparing accurate incident reports and logs. Following escalation procedures

Health & Safety:

Assist in enforcing company policies relating to health & safety, security, and site procedures.

Security System Management:

Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security equipment, reporting any faults promptly. Support out-of-hours operations by maintaining a visible presence and assisting staff and contractors.

Requirements:

SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence preferred. Previous security or facilities experience preferred. Good understanding and ability to write and spoke the English Language. Strong situational awareness and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Basic IT and CCTV skills. Reliability, integrity, and customer service approach. Physically fit to walk / patrol for long periods on each shift.
