Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Installation Engineer to join our small team. CCTV experience is essential and fire, intruder and access control experience would be beneficial but can be taught on the job. You will be required to travel extensively throughout the UK so please do not apply if you don't want to work away!

The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of CCTV systems. You will provided with a company van, power tools, ladders and workwear. Hotels will be booked for you and a daily food allowance provided.

We also install fire, intruder and access control so you will be required to assist on these jobs as and when required gaining experience while on the job.

Skills

Proficient in computer networking principles and practices Strong mechanical knowledge related to security systems installation Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to security applications Experience with CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective implementation of systems Experience with intrusion detection systems (IDS) is advantageous Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Understanding of construction processes as they relate to security installations Familiarity with telecommunication systems that support security operations Excellent communication skills and efficient with record keeping and paperwork The ability to work independently , manage your own time but still work closely with a small team
