Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for security and crime prevention? TIAA is seeking a Security Management Specialist to join our Anti-Crime Division and deliver expert security services across our diverse client base, including public, private, and third-sector organisations.


About the Role




As a Security Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing organisational resilience, safeguarding assets, and promoting a culture of safety. Youll provide high-level strategic advice, lead investigations, develop security frameworks, and deliver training programmes tailored to client needs.


This is a national role requiring flexibility, travel, and occasional overnight stays. Youll work closely with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and respond effectively to incidents.


Key Responsibilities




Lead strategic security advisory services across multiple sectors.


Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and performance frameworks.


Conduct risk assessments and manage incident investigations.


Deliver training and support the development of security personnel.


Collaborate with multi-agency stakeholders to promote best practice.


Provide expert guidance on violence prevention and aggression management.


Ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.


What Were Looking For




Qualifications & Experience:




Degree or recognised certification in security management, criminal justice, or related field (e.g., CPP, PSP, NEBOSH).


Membership of the Security Institute (MSyI) is desirable.


Proven experience in strategic security roles within complex environments.


Valid SIA licences across multiple disciplines preferred.


Eligible to pass British Standards vetting procedures.


Skills & Attributes:




Strong understanding of security legislation and criminal justice systems.


Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and identify trends.


Proficient in Microsoft Office and report writing.


Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally.
